GSM stands for Global System For Mobile communication.It is the standard set of protocols used to describe the second generation digital cellular networks defined under the European Telecommunications Standards Institute.It was developed in 1980 an implemented in 1990.Now GSM spans over more than 100 nations including Asia,Africa,Australia and America.More than 135 million subscribers use GSM with 45 million in India alone. No doubt,GSM is the most secure telecommunications standard available.
