Cloud computing is an internet based computing model were certain service providers provide software, platforms, devices ,infrastructure, resources and hosting to customers on a pay and use policy. Users can access the resources available on the cloud from anywhere across the globe without having any previous knowledge of managing those resources.Consider the case of a business firm. As the business grows their computing needs will also increase. So the company should develop new hardwares, softwares, infrastructure etc. that suits their changing, Computing demands keep on changing based on world, economy and several other factors. This is the situation where cloud computing becomes extremely useful. The firm should not worry about security, operating systems, software platforms, patches etc. They should only configure their service and the providers will take care of their fluctuating demands.  The users do not own the physical infrastructure rather they rent the service from a provider. This helps the user to avoid heavy infrastructures and its complications. They consume the resources as a service and pay only for their needs.

Cloud architecture
It consist of two components the front end and back end. Front end of the cloud architecture consist of the user devices and some applications needed for accessing the cloud. Back end refers to the cloud itself. The whole system is monitored via a central server which ensures the smooth functioning of the system. A software called Middle-ware acts as an interface between the cloud and the user. The cloud will store a copy of the client’s data to restore the service in case of unexpected breakdowns.
